YSL Online Shop + Sparkle Clash Holiday 2016

Guys, we’re virtually a first world country these days when it comes to beauty products. If the rest of our economy could take some notes that would be great…

Before we chat about anything else, YSL has a temporary online pop up shop here. You can buy selected items that are otherwise exclusive to the YSL Beaute Boutique it Sandton City. There isn’t a huge variety, but my beloved Touche Eclat is there (SO happy to have it back in my life because there’s seriously nothing that comes close to it), as well as the current YSL Sparkle Clash Holiday 2016 collection and a few other curated items.

I figured its only right that I show you the YSL Sparkle Clash collection and share my favourite picks. It’s a toe-curlingly festive looking collection in the best possible way – they manage to make glitter look elegant and sophisticated.

The star of the show is the Multi Usage Palette Collector Sparkle Clash Edition, R935. Glam outer casing aside, inside you’ll find a highlighter, four eyeshadows, two lipsticks, and three applicators. It’s the kind of thing you really, really want to whip out in a restaurant bathroom for a touch-up.

More prettiness? The Silver Clash and Fuchsia Over Noir nail polishes, R390 each (brace yourselves, there’s a Gold Clash too). The former looks most impressive, but the latter is definitely my pick of the two – it’s a gorgeous fuchsia-meets-plum shade.

I got really excited about the seriously gangster couture nail wraps until I read that they were a gift and not an item that will be for sale locally. But don’t you think its the perfect thing to wear to wear to your frenemy’s Christmas lunch/birthday party/funeral?

Lastly, the BB cream pictured is not specific to this collection but it fit really well into the picture so I just went for it. The medium shade is too dark for me to use but I still tested it and it has a lovely velvety, semi-matte finish with a decent amount of coverage.

Get the Sparkle Clash collection and some other goods from the temporary YSL online shop (free shipping if you buy 2 or more items), or find them at the YSL Beaute Boutique in Sandton City along with the rest of the range.

I live in Cape Town and want to buy my Touche Eclat. Where can I get it? Where is the online store? I would appreciate it so much if you can assist!
