I recently bought Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask as part of a shopping expedition on Everything Hair.
I’ve been in love with MoroccanOil Light and Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream since the first time I used them, so I was pretty keen to try a mask from the range. I was torn between this one and the Restorative Mask; and I went with this one because I was after something luxurious and my hair is in pretty good condition at the moment.
Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask is a merry mix of fatty alcohol (which is the good kind), vegetable oils, silicone and glycerin. In case you’re wondering about the Argan oil, it’s exactly halfway down the ingredient list which makes Moroccanoil marketing geniuses because many intelligent people actually now think pure Argan oil smells like Moroccanoil products – that’s how strong the association is (Argan oil doesn’t smell of much except a little but of nuts, by the way).
Anyway. The mask is amazing – probably the best I’ve used. It’s luxuriously thick and feels almost like a waxy balm, but it rinses out without hassles. When I use this my hair is ridiculously soft, sleek and shiny and there is, of course, the smell. I love it when my hair smells nice but very few hair products have staying power – this makes my hair smell awesome for at least a day.
Get it online from Everything Hair (R315 for 250ml) or from hair salons.
