Just a quick one from me today – I have three lip products from the Sharon & Kelly Osbourne MAC collection, and I thought it only fair to show you what they look like (If you haven’t yet, view the collection overview by clicking here).
The collection is currently available online from MAC (click here for their shop), and if all goes according to plan it will be in stores this Friday (the 15th).
From Sharon’s collection I have the Bijou Lipglass and the Patentpolish Lip Pencil in Ruby. I’m smitten with Bijou as it’s my idea of the perfect nude/pink hybrid – not too milky, not too cool toned, just right. Ruby is described as a mid-toned rose, but the most accurate description I can think of is oxblood. It’s semi-opaque after a couple of swipes, and it has the beloved Patentpolish texture that I adore.
From Kelly’s MAC collection I have Kelly Yum-Yum – a ridiculously fun bright pink shade. It’s pretty obvious that it’s a different take on the cult favourite MAC lipstick Candy Yum-Yum. The main differences are that Kelly Yum-Yum has a satin finish where Candy Yum-Yum is matte; and Kelly Yum-Yum is a little lighter in colour (but still every bit as bright).
While I’m not wowed by Sharon’s red packaging, I really love Kelly’s signature violet. I see quite a few items are sold out online (above lipstick included), so if you’re keen on specific items I recommend getting to a MAC store on launch day.
