Today I have three gorgeous makeup kits from LCN to show you.
I’m not swatching everything or reviewing anything at this stage, but I’ll do a post with my favourites in a week or so. If you’re not familiar with LCN, they’re a salon exclusive brand that I mainly knew for their gel nails. They’ve clearly branched out a lot since I last checked, because their makeup products look luxurious as can be.
What I really like is that each product in these kits are sold separately too; so if makeup sets aren’t your thing (or they’re not in your budget) you can pick out the products you like most and just get them.
Vanilla & Cranberry Shortbread Set (R820 for the set with the bag)
Vanilla & Cranberry Shortbread Hand Cream, R200
Vanilla & Cranberry Shortbread Care Pen, R195
Vanilla & Cranberry Shortbread File, R85
Vanilla & Cranberry scented nail polish, R160 (Red Affair)
Homecoming Makeup Set (R1500 with bag)
BB Powder, R435 (Matchmaker shade)
2 in 1 Eyeshadow and Lip Gloss, R245 (Satin Sparkles)
2 x Lip Gloss, R300 each (Transparent and Berry Punch)
Special Mono Eyeshadow, R245 (Diamonds & Chocolates)
Charade Makeup Set (R1420 with bag)
Lip Gloss, R300 (Marilyn)
Eyeliner, R260 (Deep Black)
Eyeshadow Multi, R335 (Charade)
Cream Blush, R285 (Luscious)
Lipstick, R300 (Liz)
Since the prices are on the steep side (some of them are touching Chanel-level), I’m going to take some time to test them and give feedback on their overall quality and performance. LCN is available from selected salons, but I did however notice that all makeup is currently being sold at less 20% on their website – while stocks last, etc etc. Check that out here.
