Estee Lauder Pretty Naughty 2013 Spring Trend by Tom Pecheux – My, My, My!

I stumbled upon this collection in THE most literal way – in Edgars, where it was on display. To me, the Estee Lauder Pretty Naughty collection is the perfect example of how to make a ‘trend’ wearable – I’ve seen a couple of other palettes come and go in the past season or two that were extremely beautiful to look at, but I was at a loss as to how you would be able to wear them during the course of a run-of-the-mill week.

Anyway, being pretty immune to lip colours in general, I swatched one of these (ja, sommer in-store) and was pretty impressed with the finish and lasting power. They’re also matte, which I really like as a change to the standard megawatt gloss look. I also LOVE this shimmery blush – it’s ridiculously pretty. I actually let out a little gasp when I saw what it looked like on my hand.

The eyeshadow palette balances pretty pastel with a sultry nude as well as a muted violet shade, and a similar muted violet is used as a nail colour. If you take a step back and look at the whole collection, you’ll see that it’s not too matchy-matchy, and that you can actually use these items together. Tom (P)atchoo, you did good here.
