I hope that everyone who were lucky enough to have some time of had fab holidays, and that those who had to keep the economy running didn’t have too much of a hard time.
If you’re a returning reader, thank you very much for stopping by over the past almost-four years and welcome back, bitches. If you’re a new reader, please note that words like bitches are not tolerated here, and is most certainly never used – I’m all about being pretentious and formal.

Q$PJAKI had a mostly good holiday if we don’t count the odd plot twist here and there. I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve for 2015, but I thought I’d indulge in a spot of reflection on the year that was.
A very popular post was this one on holiday packing where I did a breakdown on what I packed VS what I used when I went on holiday in October.
Earlier this year I was a little worried that a straight-up review of a single product was starting to bore readers, but it seems that they’re still amongst the most popular posts of all time. The L’Oreal Color Riche Pure Reds were pretty high up there and may I just say that the pictures I took are some of my best efforts if you look at them in a technical way.
Even though it’s pretty old, the Garnier BB Cream and Garnier BB Cream for combo/oily skins are still regularly read. My review of the Schwarzkopf Gliss Ultimate Oil Elixir Range also still gets viewed regularly even though it’s more than a year and a half old.
The Maybelline Colorsensational Shine Glosses regularly get a glancing too, as does the Chanel Les 4 Ombres eye collection. Of course being a skincare junkie at heart, I’m very happy that loads of people also look into Enzyme Exfoliators and Nimue Skincare.
And then there’s the oldie-but-goodie on Gynaguard Intimate Wash – it’s either incidental traffic because people google things about vaginas, or there are loads of ladies who aren’t sure whether you should be using an intimate wash or not.
I’d love to hear what you want from me in 2015 – what you’d like to see more or less of, basically, or anything else you’d like to say or ask. I’m all ears.
So far I’m planning a skincare series (different skin conditions discussed weekly/every second week along with product recommendations and Q&A) and while I’m not going to force anything I don’t want to record, I’m looking at posting videos more regularly. You can expect a minimum of three blog posts a week, up to five when my schedule allows.
And herewith comes the obligatory new year’s wishes – I hope it’s a good one! I don’t make traditional new year’s resolutions, but my plan for this year is to strike a balance between letting things run their natural course and gunning for what I want to achieve. I also need to focus a bit more on both saying yes more (to opportunities/challenges/new things) and saying no more (to things I don’t want to do).I tend to mix those up every now and then 😛
