Maybelline Baby Lips has had everyone up in arms for most of this year, and aside from seeing it all over the press I’ve been enjoying seeing my friends whip out their Baby Lips one after the other. One friend’s boyfriend really enjoys Baby Lips Peach Kiss, and she forever has to check whether his lips look obviously shimmery. To read my take on the original Baby Lips balms, click here.
Upwards and onwards though, we’ve just received Maybelline Baby Lips Electro locally. There are six variants to choose from, of which four has a potent tint and two are sheer.
Of the six variants I received Berry Bomb and Oh Orange. Oh Orange doesn’t leave much of a tint on my already-red lips (it just looks like I lightly nibbled on an Orange Maid sucker), but Berry Bomb is surprisingly pretty and wearable, although I see it as more of a winter shade. If those two shades are anything to go by, I’m definitely checking out Strike a Rose and Pink Shock.
Available from Clicks, Dischem, Foschini and Edgars, R30 each.
